Last week I had the blessing of taking part in helping the Foursquare families here by setting up tents to provide a temporary shelter. I was so exited to help our sisters and brothers in Christ, but it is an even greater joy to see how God is using our work to change the lives of people. After we had set up the 9th tent, Chad asked the new owner if she would let us pray for her and bless her new home. I asked her if she believed in Jesus. She was not a Christian, so we began talking about how God wanted to give her not just a new house, but a new life. Close by were people listening as we talked about the love and faithfulness of God and how He promises to provide our needs. We prayed with this lady, and as we were leaving, a man came to us asking us to help him because he wanted to accept the new life Jesus was offering him. He bowed down on his knees and kept saying how much he needed Jesus. He confessed his need for Christ and accepted Him as his Lord and Savior. Once again heaven rejoices, and we join our hearts in giving Him glory for what He’s done!
I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God made it grow. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.
( I Corinthians 3: 6,7)
Thank you for your continued prayers,
