The flurry of activity is amazing at Foursquare Haiti Base Camp. Teams from Oak Harbor and Beaverton did some great work with our orphanages. They also spend hours in planning future projects and development to raise the standard of Orphan Care in Haiti. Along with a hike to one of our remote Foursquare churches, read Debbie’s “Ends of the Earth” blog (www.faithworksjohn.wordpress.com), they helped with the National Church site development plan. Our two Go Teams in August also ministered at our orphanages and were busy feeding kids and building benches with the other teams so our refugee camp families could have a piece of furniture in their tents. Great job! Our first team from Canada Foursquare brought their worship team and did some outreach concerts and recorded and produced a CD for an orphanage near us. It was a dream of a lifetime for these kids as they tearfully listened to their first CD. Watch for details for how you can order your copy. It’s great! The Canadians also had a Dental Clinic and served over 150 people along with the children from two orphanages. There was just not enough time, and people are asking for more Dental Clinics. We also had a basketball clinic put on by NBA player Jake Voskuhl from Grace North in Anthem, with his team from Arizona. The Go Team and Canadians worked hard as they prepared and passed out over 400 sandwiches & drinks to the children from the tent camps. It was a great time as more than 200 young people accepted Jesus Christ as Savior! Here is a great youtube video they did:
